MOUNT SAVAGE — A Frostburg man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening in an accident late Monday on Mount Savage Road north of Baskerville Road, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
James Paul Larue, 35, was taken to the hospital by ambulance following the 10 p.m. crash.
Police said Larue was traveling northbound on Mount Savage Road when he lost control of his passenger vehicle that struck several trees and overturned.
A passenger in the vehicle declined medical attention.
Police said investigation led to Larue being charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving with license privileges suspended and driving with license privileges revoked.
Maryland State Police and Mount Savage and Waltersburg, Pa., volunteer units also responded upon alert by the Allegany County 911 center.
