February busy for Mineral deputies - 03/15

— KEYSER, W.Va. — During February, the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department responded to 329 requests for service, including 13 alarms, two arsons, three burglaries, 14 domestic complaints, three fights, two forgeries, two attempted robberies and five thefts.

Deputies investigated 22 motor vehicle accidents, including one fatality and seven injury accidents.

The sheriff’s office conducted 11 transports of inmates and served 32 arrest warrants last month.

There were 53 physical arrests of individuals on 74 separate criminal charges logged in February, according to a summary provided by Sheriff Jeremy Taylor.
