KEYSER, W.Va. — Fire in a portable fan at an Orchard Street residence led to the arrest of a Keyser man early Sunday, according to the Keyser Police Department.
Cort William Anderson, 28, was initially taken to the Potomac Valley Hospital for medical evaluation and re-leased following the 3:45 a.m. incident.
Anderson was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and was released after posting $15,000 bond set by Mineral County Magistrate Sue Roby, according to court documents.
The fire was reportedly extinguished by the time Keyser Police and the Keyser Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene.
