State police uncover Somerset meth lab - 01/16

— SOMERSET, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police in Somerset said they uncovered a meth lab in the borough Monday afternoon. Investigators have charged two county residents with drug offenses.

Police said an investigation led officers to an apartment in the 100 block of South Vincent Avenue. The state police Clandestine Lab Response unit was dispatched to process the scene and several items were taken as potential evidence.

Justin Carr, who police said has Somerset and Meyersdale addresses, and Samantha McKenzie, 18, of Salisbury, both face felony drug charges, police said. Carr was lodged in the Somerset County Jail as of Monday evening.
