Nighttime wrecks send 3 to hospital - 12/28

— CUMBERLAND — Two accidents on Thursday sent three people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, according to Allegany County 911 Center.

At 7:28 p.m., a wreck took place on state Route 36 at Cabin Run Road where two people were transported by Frostburg Area Ambulance. Also responding were firefighters from Shaft and Frostburg as well as the Allegany County Office of the Sheriff.

At 10:28 p.m., an accident in the 400 block of National Highway, LaVale, injuring one person who was transported by LaVale Rescue Squad. LaVale firefighters and Maryland State Police responded as well.
