CUMBERLAND — CUMBERLAND  — A theft complaint Thursday afternoon at a Fourth Street residence followed by a second complaint there a short time later led to a city man’s arrest.

David Lee Kesler Jr., 21, was charged with theft less than $1,000 and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana).

Following a bond hearing, Kesler was jailed on $3,500 bond pending bail review in district court.

After taking a theft complaint at the residence in the 400 block of East Fourth Street, city police were called back to the same residence for a disturbance complaint.

Kesler was arrested and allegedly found in possession of stolen property and suspected crack cocaine, police said.
