— IMLER, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are looking for an East Freedom man reported to have held hostage and as-saulted his estranged wife on Friday.

Troopers responded to 121 Te-xas Drive in Imler about 8:45 p.m. Friday.

Authorities report that the victim arrived home from work about 3:30 p.m. and was confronted by Ronald Blair Miller Sr., 45, who had a shotgun. Miller kept the victim in the house for five hours, police said, slapping and head-butting her. Miller, according to police, threatened to shoot her and then himself.

Eventually, the victim escaped and called for help from a neighboring house.

Officers set up a perimeter around the house and then searched it, but Miller was gone. He is charged with burglary, false imprisonment, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, simple assault and criminal mischief.
