Two hurt in mishap near landfill - 07/11

— FROSTBURG — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on state Route 36 near the landfill, according to the Allegany County 911 center.

First responders were dispatched to the scene in the 13300 block of New Georges Creek Road at 7:49 a.m.

Two people were taken by Frostburg Area Ambulance Service to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Midland and Shaft volunteer fire units also responded to the accident that was investigated by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
