CUMBERLAND — A city woman was arrested by Cumberland Police following investigation of a reported burglary of a Fort Cumberland Homes residence Monday.
Cumberland Police arrested Savannah R. Moreland, 20, on charges of first- and fourth-degree burglary, attempted second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Moreland was granted pretrial release after posting $25,000 bond.
Police said Moreland allegedly forced entry into the residence and then began swinging a piece of metal at the occupants.
One of the victims reportedly ran from the residence as city police officers arrived to investigate.
