Motorist injured on Kennels Mill Road - 07/06

BEDFORD, Pa. — A Hyndman man was injured Wednesday when he lost control of his vehicle on Kennels Mill Road in a crash that police said was alcohol-related.

Jeffrey J. Logsdon, 26, sustained injuries in the 8:46 p.m. accident and was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center by Hyndman ambulance.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Matthew Bonn reported Logsdon was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt eastbound on Kennels Mill Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the south side of the roadway. The vehicle continued to travel out of control before it struck a fence, causing disabling damage to the vehicle.

Police said upon arrival they discovered Logsdon was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

Hyndman Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the accident in Londonderry Township.
