FROSTBURG — A man died at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center on Saturday after being transported there following an apparent accidental shooting incident near Frostburg, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
Responding to the 6:48 p.m. call, officers found Marvin Edward Bickling, 35, of Baltimore, had suffered a gunshot wound at a storage shed facility on Shaft Road. The victim later died of his injuries at the hospital.
The C3I unit responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
An investigation is continuing by the sheriff’s office and C3I. Further details were not available Sunday.
