Jewelry stolen in city burglary - 07/10

— CUMBERLAND — Gold necklaces, watches and assorted coins were stolen when entry was forced into a Linden Street residence in the 400 block on June 28, according to the C3I Unit.

The crime occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. when suspects damaged a side door glass to gain entry.

The suspects removed three watches, eight to 10 gold necklaces and approximately $200 worth of assorted state quarters, Kennedy half dollars and Eisenhower dollars.

Anyone with information in the case may contact Allegany and Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300. Callers may remain anonymous, do not have to appear in court and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500.

The C3I Unit is continuing to investigate the burglary.
