— CUMBERLAND — A Frostburg man was injured early Sunday when his vehicle traveled out of control and overturned on eastbound Interstate 68, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

Clyde Michael, 59, suffered unspecified injuries in the 6:42 a.m. crash and was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center by Cumberland Fire Department ambulance.

Police said that Michael’s 1998 Chevrolet Malibu traveled off the roadway at the beginning of the construction zone, struck a crash attenuator and then flipped onto its roof.

Michael was conscious and alert before medical personnel took him to the hospital, police said.
