KEYSER, W. Va. — Theft of brand-name purses and brand-name clothing from a South Main Street residence is under investigation by the Keyser Police Department.
Entry into a residence in the first block of South Main Street was made by forcing a side window sometime between 4 p.m. on June 12 and 8:30 a.m. on June 15, police said.
More than $1,400 worth of items were stolen, including 10 name brand purses (Bath & Body Works, Juicy Couture and Coach) and assorted Roman-brand clothing.
Jewelry and an antique Humpty-Dumpty knickknack were also stolen reportedly during the burglary.
The crime scene was processed for possible evidence by the Keyser Police Department.
