— SOMERSET, Pa. — Three Somerset residents were charged with burglary and theft by Pennsylvania State Police after a residence was broken into recently and $1,000 in coins was reported stolen.

Police said that Douglas Everhart allegedly entered the back window of 308 Duck Pond Road in Jefferson Township and took the large container of coins. Everhart was in the company of Matthew Snyder and both men left the residence and picked up Jason Carpenter, police said.

The three went to several coin-cashing machines in Somerset and Johnstown and were caught on surveillance video cashing in the money, police said.
