Woman arrested on two warrants - 12/06

CUMBERLAND — Two separate assault incidents within three weeks led to the arrest of a Cumberland woman Tuesday.

Crystal Rymer, 21, was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment before being jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center on $55,000 bond set by a district court commissioner.

Police said a complaint Nov. 14 at a Linden Street residence involved the alleged assault of a man by Rymer, who reportedly struck the victim with the broken wooden leg of a table. The victim suffered significant eye damage and was treated at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, police said.
