Burglary charges filed in Westernport - 12/10

— WESTERNPORT — A Martinsburg, W.Va., man is facing burglary charges after an incident in the 400 block of Vine Street, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.

Marvin Stump, 36, was being held in the Allegany County Detention Center Sunday on $25,000 bond after he was arrested on Philos Avenue with tools that were allegedly stolen from the Vine Street residence, police said.

After receiving a breaking and entering complaint on Vine Street, police were on the lookout for a white male operating a Dish Network white van.

Deputies located the van and arrested Stump on charges of second-degree burglary and fourth-degree burglary and theft under $1,000.
