BEDFORD. Pa.— A single-vehicle crash resulted in injuries to the driver and passenger in a 2012 Chrysler Friday morning in Hopewell Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred when the driver was traveling in her car southbound on Price Hill Road. The car crossed into oncoming traffic then struck a tree on the left side of the roadway. The driver said when she came around the curve the sun was in her eyes and the next thing she knew, the car ran into the tree, according to police.
The 79-year-old driver is reported to have suffered moderate injuries and her 71-year-old passenger received minor injuries, police said.
