Doors removed from tractor-trailer - 08/16

BEDFORD, Pa. — Theft of the driver and passenger doors of a 2007 Peterbilt tractor-trailer at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 and and state Route 56 in Bedford Township is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police.

The theft occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday while the rig was parked in a parking area near that intersection, according to Cpl. Steven J. Walters.

The truck is owned by Metzier Brothers Inc. of Martinsburg, Pa., police said.

    Keyser Police responded to the Mineral County Technical Center on Monday at 10:46 a.m. for an incident in which a 19-year-old student was allegedly thrown into a wall by a 17-year-old student.
