— CUMBERLAND — A city man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly entered a residence through a bathroom window and then as-saulted a woman who was sleeping and her brother who intervened to help, Cumberland Police said.

Jordan Shook, 26, was charged with numerous counts of burglary and assault in addition to armed robbery, reckless endangerment, weapons offense and other violations.

Following a bond hearing, Shook remained jailed Friday without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
