At least one hurt in Hampshire crash - 04/12

— SPRINGFIELD, W.Va. — At least one person was injured in an accident on Green Spring Valley Road about five miles from state Route 28 late Thursday morning, according to the Allegany County 911 center.

District 16 ambulance took the patient to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of unknown injures after the ambulance was requested to provide mutual aid to Hampshire County first-responders. The request was made at about 11:30 a.m., according to the Allegany County dispatch center.

Efforts by the Times-News to obtain information from the Hampshire County 911 center by email were unsuccessful. The center does not accept media telephone inquiries under Hampshire County policy set by the sheriff’s office.
