Two people seriously hurt in Pa. crash - 10/07

— NEW CENTERVILLE, Pa. — Mason Ansell, 22, of Rockwood and Jennifer Jury, 26, of Somerset were seriously injured following an accident that occurred Sunday at 1:20 a.m. on state Route 281, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Ansell, who was operating a 2004 Dodge 2500, was travelling southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, police said. The truck then crossed into and through the opposing lane of traffic and struck an embankment before continuing back across the roadway and rolling over. It then reportedly caught on fire. Both Ansell and Jury were ejected from the truck, police said.

New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department responded as well as Somerset ambulance.

The investigation is continuing and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact state police at 814-445-4104.
