Arrests made in McHenry burglary - 10/19

— MCHENRY — Two Garrett County men have been arrested and two more are being sought by police in connection with last week’s burglary of the Outdoor Element business at the Wisp Resort on Marsh Hill Road, according to Maryland State Police.

Kavon C’Andre Riley, 19, and Brandon Niamke Bishop, 18, were arrested Tuesday in connection with the breaking and entering that resulted in the theft of $2,000 worth of clothing and store merchandise, police said.

Both men were charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary and theft from $1,000 to $10,000, police said.

Riley remained jailed Friday at the Garrett County Detention Center on $25,000 bond and Bishop was released Thursday after posting $10,000 bond.

Warrants have also been obtained for the arrests of Jusu Jalarue and Mark Levi Washington, police said.

Numerous search warrants were executed during the investigation. Various clothing and other items reported stolen during the burglary have been recovered, police said.
