OAKLAND — Richard Ed-ward Burns, 25, of Oakland was jailed after two arrest warrants were served by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
Burns was charged in connection with several burglaries at storage units on Old Crellin Road and Wolf Acres Drive. Numerous stolen items reportedly were recovered after police searched a residence in Loch Lynn and Burns’ vehicle.
Warrants were served on Monday and Tuesday and Burns was charged with eight counts of burglary and destruction of property and one count of theft.
He was held in the Garrett County Detention Center on $50,000 bond, police said.
