CUMBERLAND — A disturbance call on Independence Street led to a 40-year-old Cumberland women being charged with multiple violations after it was revealed that she furnished alcohol to several underage individuals, according to police.
Upon arriving at the scene, police reportedly observed beer cans throughout the residence and several individuals present under the age of 21. Interviews and statements taken revealed Hazard had furnished the alcohol.
Hazard allegedly became disruptive and unruly and spat in the direction of an officer. The officer was able to move away and was not struck.
Hazard, who was released on her personal recognizance pending trail, was charged with second-degree assault, furnishing alcohol to a person under 21 for consumption and disorderly conduct.
