Two injured in Hampshire crash - 03/08

— ROMNEY, W.Va. — Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident early Wednesday evening in the Yellow Spring area of Hampshire County, according to the county’s 911 center.

Both patients were taken to the Winchester (Va.) Medical Center following the 6:53 p.m. incident for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The accident in the 6900 block of Carpers Pike was investigated by West Virginia State Trooper First Class M. Massie with assistance of Hampshire County Deputy J. Kesner.

Capon Springs fire and rescue volunteers responded along with Gore and Capon Bridge volunteer fire departments, Mathias Baker Ambulance Service and the Health Net helicopter, according to the emergency center.
