KEYSER, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Friday night and Saturday morning along U.S. Route 220 south of Keyser, according to 1st Sgt. C.E. Platt, Troop 2, District 2 commander.
The checkpoint is being conducted as part of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
The checkpoint will begin at 8 p.m. Friday and continue until 2 a.m. Saturday in an effort to increase awareness of the hazards of intoxicated driving.
