SOMERSET, Pa. — Two Meyersdale residents were arrested Monday in connection with the recent burglary of the White House Restaurant in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Investigation of the burglary by Trooper Scott D. Myers led to the arrest of Jacob D. Robertson, 20, and Amber N. Maust, 26, on burglary and theft charges.
Robertson remained jailed Tuesday at the Somerset County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond and Maust in lieu of $1,000 bond following arraignment before Magistrate Bell, police said.
Police said Robertson allegedly forced open a basement window, obtained a key from a cash register and then opened the front door to allow Maust to enter and steal various items from the restaurant. The burglary occurred sometime after 8:30 p.m. on June 11 and before 7:45 a.m. on June 12.
