— BEDFORD, Pa. — An Indiana County man suffered major injuries Tuesday when his vehicle traveled out of control during heavy rainfall on Interstate 99 in East Saint Claire Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Neil J. Kuzilla, 23, of Home, Pa., was taken to Altoona Hospital following the 3 p.m. crash that occurred at the 5-mile marker in Bedford County, police said.

The accident occurred as Kuzilla was operating a 2012 Nissan Juke northbound on I-99 when a “sudden downpour” of rain occurred. The vehicle traveled out of control and Kuzilla was ejected from the vehicle, resulting in life-threatening injuries, police said.
