Frostburg man held without bond - 05/13

CUMBERLAND — On Saturday, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department served three arrest warrants on Joshua Ian Cline, 36, of Frostburg. Cline had two circuit court warrants for failure to appear and a warrant charging him with burglary and other charges, a press release from the Cumberland Police Department said.

The burglary warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on April 13 at an address on Memorial Avenue. Police said their investigation showed Cline entered the property without the owner’s consent and removed an electronic gaming system valued at approximately $400. While entering the residence, Cline damaged a screen in the window, according to police. The property owner was able to identify Cline by name.

Charges were filed at district court and the warrant was issued. Cline was processed at the Cumberland Police Department and taken before a district court commissioner. He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center and ordered held without bond on all three warrants.

Cline was also charged with failure to appear in Circuit Court for child support contempt.
