Two injured in Garrett crash - 07/23

— OAKLAND — Two people were injured and taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital by ambulance following a two-vehicle crash Monday on Garrett Highway, according to the Garrett County 911 Center.

Troopers from the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack responded to U.S. Route 219 at 9:30 a.m.

Decorsey Bolden, 88, of Oakland collided head-on with Roberta Seward, 76, of Oakland while making a left turn into Glotfelty Tires, police said.

The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, Oakland Volunteer Fire Department and Maryland State Highway Administration also re-sponded.

No further information was available.
