SOMERSET, Pa. — A Somerset man was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct early Tuesday morning at a residence in the 100 block of Lillian Lane by Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated man destroying property within the residence at 4:17 a.m. They found Jared Benjamin Knopsnyder, 24, hiding behind the door with a filet knife.
Police said they disarmed Knopsnyder and had to use substantial force to overcome him.
Knopsnyder was jailed on $2,000 bond.
