CUMBERLAND — Two city residents were treated at the Western Regional Medical Center on Thursday following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lamont Street and Industrial Boulevard.
Cumberland Police cited Xianna Kesler, 22, for failure to yield the right of way after the 4:10 p.m. crash.
Kesler was driving a 2003 Dodge Neon and attempting to cross the lanes of West Industrial to travel onto East Industrial, police said. Kesler pulled into the path of a 1997 Kia Sophia driven by Donna Hartung, 55.
The Hartung vehicle was traveling on West Industrial at the time of the accident.
Neither driver suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Hartung was issued a seat belt violation for a child not being restrained in an appropriate child safety seat, police said.
