City police busy with domestic calls - 11/01

CUMBERLAND — Three people were arrested in three separate assault complaints investigated Tuesday and Wednesday, Cumberland Police said.

The latest arrest occurred at about 1 a.m. Wednesday when police charged Crystal N. Rymer, 21, city, with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

The incident occurred in the 500 block of Linden Street when Rymer allegedly slammed a door into the head of the victim who was being interviewed by police.

After a bond hearing, Rymer was jailed on $2,000 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

A 3 p.m. complaint Tuesday in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue led to the arrest of Traci L. Tilson, 33, city, on charges of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and deadly weapon with intent to injure.

Tilson was jailed after arrest processing on $25,000 bond set by a court commissioner.

Police said Tilson allegedly attempted to stab a male victim with a knife outside a residence. The victim suffered a minor cut on the left arm but was uncooperative and declined medical treatment.

A couple of hours earlier, police arrested Patricia L. McNemar, 59, city, on a se-cond-degree assault charge following investigation of a domestic assault in the 700 block of Princeton Street.

The victim suffered cuts to the neck and head but apparently did not seek medical treatment.

McNemar was released later on her personal recognizance as ordered by a district court commissioner.
