— OAKLAND —  Garrett County Sheriff Rob Corley issued a statement Sunday on the reported four overdose deaths that have occurred in the Pittsburgh area due to deadly laced heroin.

Sold in packages labeled “Theraflu,” the deadly heroin has been found to be laced with the powerful narcotic fentanyl.

“The reality is that there are persons in our communities who are addicted to heroin and we know many of them obtain it by traveling north to Fayette and Allegheny counties in Pa.,” the release said.
