County investigates LaVale dog attack - 05/17

— LAVALE — Allegany County Animal Services is investigating an incident that was called in as a dog bite on Weires Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Animal shelter manager Karl Brubaker said that a woman in her 60s who was gardening was approached by two dogs. She was scratched and had lacerations, according to first responders, Brubaker said, and was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

County staff was attempting to locate the dogs.
