Wire stolen front Hyndman power station - 11/27

HYNDMAN, Pa. — Thieves stole 200 feet of copper wire and damaged a transformer at the power station on Locust Street in Londonderry Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 15 and Nov. 24 after entry into the site was made by cutting a chain link fence.

Once inside, the suspect(s) removed approximately 200 feet of 40-gauge copper wire, valued at $5,200, police said.
