CUMBERLAND — A 47-year-old Cumberland man was charged with disorderly conduct early Saturday after allegedly creating a disturbance at a business.
Police said William Leasure Jr. was asked to leave a South Mechanic Street business several times after creating a disturbance. Police were called at 12:51 a.m. and ordered Leasure to leave the business and not return, or he would be subject to arrest. Police left the business and upon walking to their vehicles, they saw Leasure run back toward the business where he began yelling and banging on the windows.
Police placed Leasure under arrest and transported him to the Cumberland Police Department, where he was given a criminal citation for disorderly conduct and released.
