Sobriety check set near Romney - 03/18

ROMNEY, W.Va. — In an effort to increase awareness of the hazards of drunken driving, West Virginia State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on U.S. Route 50 near Romney on April 4 from 8 p.m. until April 5 at 2 a.m.

During this weekend, the Governor’s Highway Safety Program, in conjunction with the West Virginia State Police, will conduct events and patrols concentrating on the arrest of intoxicated drivers.
