City man jailed in C3I investigation - 03/19

— CUMBERLAND — A city man was jailed Monday following a C3I investigation into alleged sex offender registration violations.

Cody Mycheal Harrold, 22, was charged with providing false information as a registered sex offender, making false statements to a police officer and obstructing and hindering an investigation when he was served a warrant containing the violations.

Following a bond hearing, Harrold remained jailed Tuesday at the Allegany County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.

An investigation by C3I began on Feb. 27 after Harrold had indicated that he was residing in Maryland when in fact in was residing in West Virginia.

Harrold was arrested recently in Grant County, W.Va., and extradited to Maryland on Monday where he was served the warrant for his arrest.
