CUMBERLAND — Domestic assaut complaints early Tuesday on Grand Avenue and late Monday afternoon on Avirett Avenue resulted in two arrests, Cumberland Police said.
At 12:57 a.m. Tuesday, investigation of a disturbance on Grand Avenue for the third time in four hours led to the arrest of Joshua Darby, 28, city, on charges of second-degree assault and failure to obey. He was released on his personal recognizance, pending trial in district court.
Police said injuries to the victim led to the arrest.
At 5:17 p.m. Monday, Jeri E. Gough, 51, was charged with second-degree assault after police observed injuries to the male victim. She was released on her personal recognizance by a court commissioner, pending trial in district court.
