Man acquitted in jury trial - 10/01

— CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland man who was charged by Maryland State Police in January for allegedly assaulting his former girlfriend at knife point and kidnapping her was found not guilty in a jury trial last week in Allegany County Circuit Court.

Brian Russell Price, 40, pleaded not guilty to 14 counts against him and was found not guilty to nine charges and five charges were dismissed, according to online court records.

Price was represented by attorney C. Trent Thomas.
