— ROMNEY, W.Va. — A Romney woman was arrested Wednesday after she lost control of her vehicle and struck the Department of Health and Human Resources building, according to West Virginia State Police.

Tiffany M. Diehl, 21, was charged with driving with license privileges suspended and a fugitive warrant from Maryland.

Police said her vehicle struck the side of the building at about 2 p.m.

Diehl apparently was not injured.

State police also investigated an accident Tuesday at 8:20 p.m. on U.S. Route 50 near Capon Bridge.

Alicia Repine, 52, of Capon Bridge apparently escaped injuries when her vehicle traveled out of control and overturned.

In another report, a 16-year-old girl was taken to Hampshire Memorial Hospital after she lost control of her vehicle late Monday on Slanesville Pike.

Police said the youth was cited for not wearing a seatbelt and not having insurance.

County fire and rescue units responded to the incidents following alert by the Hampshire County 911 center.
