Piedmont woman to serve sentence - 12/06

— PIEDMONT, W.Va. — Crystal Star Metz, 40, of Piedmont was sentenced in U.S District Court in Martinsburg to 120 months imprisonment to be followed by six years of supervised release.

Metz has a prior drug conviction in the Northern District of West Virginia and pleaded guilty in September to distribution of crack cocaine on June 18 in Mineral County.

She was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals pending designation to a federal institution.
