GIBSONIA, Pa. - Frostburg State pitcher Billye Hollister repeated as Player of the Year and was joined by teammate Kyle Mahan on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference baseball team.

Hollister shares the Player of the Year for the second straight season with Penn State Altoona shortstop Tony Petulla.

* Hollister had a 10-1 record with one save in leading the Bobcats' staff. He had a 2.18 earned run average with 80 strikeouts in 86 2-3 innings and a .198 batting average against.

Hollister was 5-0 against AMCC opponents, and led the league in innings pitched (81), was second in strikeouts (76), ERA (2.22), wins, and opposing batting average. Hollister ranked 24th in NCAA Division III in wins and 59th in ERA. He was also a second-team American Baseball Coaches Association All-American.

* Mahan, a senior outfielder, was the only other Bobcat on the first team. Mahan leads the team in batting average (.389) and triples (4), and is second on the team in hits (42) and stolen bases (11) and third in runs (23) and RBIs (23). Mahan accented his solid season with the game-winning RBI-single in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat La Roche in the AMCC Championship game.

Earning second-team honors were junior outfielder Chris Jones, sophomore third baseman Art Barone and sophomore first baseman Allen Peake.

* Jones led the Bobcats in batting average (.385), hits (52), runs (40), and stolen bases (18). He also had five doubles, four home runs and 22 RBIs.

* Barone batted .356 and had 13 RBIs and a team-high 15 doubles.

* Peake batted .281 with eight doubles and a team-leading seven home runs and 29 RBIs.

* Micklus was 7-3 with two saves and a 2.32 earned run average, and had a win and a save in helping the Bobcats win the AMCC Tournament. He pitched 66 innings, allowed 53 hits, and struck out 74.
