CUMBERLAND — Courtney Koelker had team highs with 13 service points and 22 assists and Fort Hill stayed unbeaten wih a 25-12, 25-7, 25-17 win over Allegany Wednesday night at Allegany High School.

Andrea Armstrong added 10 points, six aces and five kills, Nikki Absher had eight kills and four aces, Tierney Shockey eight points, three aces and two kills, and Katelyn Covey five kills for Fort Hill (4-0). Koelker also had five aces.

Brooke Wharton had 20 digs, Miranda Shank 12 assists, and Kayla Palmer four kills for Allegany (1-2).

Fort Hill won the jayvee match 25-16, 25-15. Alyssia Whitacre had nine points and five aces, Ra’Shanna Middleton five points and six aces and Haley Wolfe five assists for the Sentinels.

Alexia Mauzy had six assists, Samantha Upole five digs and Emily Michael two blocks for Allegany.

Allegany plays at Mountain Ridge on Monday and Fort Hill visits Southern on Tuesday.

Mountain Ridge    3

Northern    0

FROSTBURG — Taylor Llewellyn and Shae Winner combined for 23 service points and 10 aces in leading Mountain Ridge past visiting Northern, 25-14, 25-20, 25-17.

Llewellyn had 13 points, five aces and nine assists, while Winner added 10 points, five aces and seven kills for Mountain Ridge (3-1).

Maddie Whittemore led Northern (0-4) with eight points, three aces and three kills. Breanna Mallow had six points and one kill.

The Mountain Ridge jayvees won 25-18, 25-8. Linda Cheshire had 19 points and seven aces, Tommelynn Raines added nine kills and Allie Hawkins had 11 assists for the Miners (4-0). Tori DeVine had three points, an ace and a kill for Northern (2-2).

Mountain Ridge hosts Allegany on Monday and Northern entertains Bishop Walsh on Tuesday.

HANCOCK — Hancock pulled out three tight games to edge Bishop Walsh, 25-23, 25-23, and 25-19.

Kelsey Buser led the Spartans with 10 service points, five aces and 12 digs, and Colleen Crossland had a team-high 13 assists.

Hancock won the jayvee match 25-17, 25-11. Caitlin Strem had seven points and an ace for BW.

The Spartans (1-6) play at Northern Tuesday night.

Frankfort     3

Berkeley Springs     0

SHORT GAP, W.Va. — Saydi Whiteman and Taylor Douthitt each scored 12 points and had four aces to help Frankfort sweep Berkeley Springs 25-11, 25-10 and 25-8 Thursday evening at Frankfort High School.

Whiteman also had 10 kills and 12 digs; Taylor Rice scored 10 points, had six aces and 25 assists. Morgan Greaser added eight points and three aces; Maddie Shambaugh seven points, four aces and 19 digs; and Katie Bush had 11 kills. Courtney Miller led the Indians with four points.

Frankfort also swept the jayvee match, winning 25-13 and 25-17. Brittany Porter and Morgan Long each had nine points. Porter also had four aces, seven kills and three digs and Long had five aces and four assists. Courtney Smith scored four points for Berkeley Springs.

Both teams play Tuesday. Frankfort is at Keyser and Berkeley Springs hosts Petersburg.

Calvary Christian    3

HAGERSTOWN — Lauryn Ruckert and Lyndsie Lee combined to score 24 service points and 12 aces leading Calvary Christian Academy over Highland View 25-13, 25-12 and 25-8.

Ruckert had 13 service points, seven aces, three kills and two assists. Lee had 11 service points, five aces, a kill and six assists. Haley Mason had six kills, six service points and an ace. Nikki Squires fired 15 aces off of 22 service points and Tiana Thompson had five service points, an ace and three kills.

Calvary (3-6) visits Faith Christian Academy tonight in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Hampshire    3

Southern    2

OAKLAND — Kim Lupton and Kasey Patterson combined for 39 service points as Hampshire roared back to beat Southern.

Hampshire won the first game 25-17 and dropped the next two by 25-23 and 25-12 scores. But the Trojans won game four 25-22 and took the match by taking the fifth, 15-7.

Lupton finished with 20 points and seven aces and Patterson had 19 points and 12 aces for Hampshire. Cody Corbin had 14 kills and Brooke Davis 11 assists.

Tara Marple had 14 points and Alycia Horner 10 kills to lead Southern. Stephanie Rexroad added nine points.

Hampshire won the jayvee match 25-17, 23-25 and 15-8. Morgan Nicholas had nine points, six aces and six kills, Kendra Connelly 12 points and four aces and Lauren Dillon eight digs for the Trojans.

Natalie Arnold had six points and fou kills and Brooke Spiker six points for the Rams.
