OAKLAND — Bryce Friend and Matt McCullough each shot a 42 for Southern to lead the Rams to a win over three other schools Tuesday at Oakland Golf Club.
Southern’s 175 gave it a 10-stroke advantage over Northern (185) and was 12 strokes less than Keyser’s 187. Tucker closed out the match with a 195.
Northern’s Brady Benton and Keyser’s Matt Landes posted the low individual score by tying at 39. Northern’s Jeff Bittinger finished with a round of 42, and Brandon Carr led Tucker by shooting a 45. Will Friedlock scored 45 for the Rams.
Southern will host an invitational match on Thursday involving Keyser and Northern, as well as Allegany, Bishop Walsh, Fort Hill, Frankfort, Hampshire and Mountain Ridge.
Allegany tops Bishop Walsh, Fort Hill at Fore Sisters
RAWLINGS — The Allegany High School golf team carded a 181 to defeat Bishop Walsh (188) and Fort Hill (207) in a match, Tuesday night, at Fore Sisters.
The Campers were led by medalist Keegan Ott’s 39 and Bryce Trezise’s 43, while Lucan McGill and Brennan McMullen shot 43 and 44 for Bishop Walsh. Pete Jackowski and Josh Lutton led Fort Hill with a 40 and 42.
All three teams will play again on Thursday at the Southern High School Invitational at Oakland Country Club.
