So. Maryland dominates Allegany, 90-57

Nightengale scores game-high 31 in loss

— LA PLATA — Despite 31 points from Madi Nightengale, Allegany College of Maryland was beaten handily, 90-57, at the College of Southern Maryland Friday.

The Trojans came out flat in yet another road game, falling behind 39-16 at halftime.

The offense was more potent in the second half, led by Nightengale and Monique Rhodes, but it wasn’t nearly enough to get back into the game.

Rhodes finished with 17 points.

Tierra White led Southern Maryland with 28 points and Whitney Jones added 21.

Allegany (3-17, 2-9 in MD JUCO) plays at Garrett Wednesday at 5 p.m.
