F Club will meet tonight

CUMBERLAND — The Fort Hill F Club will meet tonight at the Fort Hill High School cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m.

LaVale Lions sign-ups Thursday

LAVALE — The LaVale Lions pee wee football will hold sign-ups on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the LaVale Library.

Limited roster spots are available.

PenMar-WV League to meet Saturday

RIDGELEY, W.Va. — The PenMar-WV Semi-Pro Baseball League will hold a meeting Saturday at the Ridgeley American Legion at 5 p.m for coaches and league officials.

The agenda will include confirmation of details for the fourth annual golf tournament at Rocky Gap scheduled for April 20.

The wooden bat league, founded in 1949, has five teams this season: Tri-State, Oakland, West Virginia, Cumberland and Morgantown. The league is recruiting new teams from all surrounding areas and any players looking for a team this summer.

Cardinals to hold Saturday sign-up

CUMBERLAND — The Cumberland Cardinals of the Pee Wee Football League will hold free registration for football and cheerleading on Saturday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roy Rogers Restaurant.

The first fundraiser of season will be handed out at the sign-up. Players and cheerleaders must be at least 6 years old but not yet 12 by Sept. 1 to be eligible to participate.
