• Stay on 56 West for

about 5 miles.

FROSTBURG — Molly

Offstein led Mountain Ridge

to victory in the girls meet,

while

Levi

Cameron

won the

boys

meet and

helped

Northern take the team title

as well in a high school

cross country triangular at

Mountain Ridge.

Mountain Ridge won the

girls meet with 17 points

and Bishop Walsh was second

with 42. Northern had

an incomplete score.

Molly Offstein won with a

time of 20:17, leading a 1-2-3

Mountain Ridge finish.

Madison Offstein was second

at 20:56 and Angie Bennett

third in 21:52.

Maggie Czapski (22:45)

was fourth for Bishop

Walsh. Ashley Murphy

(24:36) led Northern with an

eighth place.

Northern won the boys

meet with 22 points. Bishop

Walsh had 55 and Mountain

Ridge 56.

Cameron was the first to

finish and had a winning

time of 18:24. Mountain

Ridge’s Daryl Griffiths was

second in 18:33 and Northern’s

Blake Meyers took

fourth in 18:48.

John Rossi led Bishop

Walsh, placing fifth in 20:31.

Mountain Ridge runs

again in the Class 2A West

Regional on Thursday, Oct.
